BbyD was commissioned by Façonnable to work on the first brochure to launch their new brand: Façonnable Denim. As part of its rejuvenation strategy, Façonnable has introduced a men’s denim line aimed at reinforcing its lifestyle status and wooing a more fashion-conscious profile.
Drawing on 50 years of tailoring materials, we decided to use all main past badges and iconic images to illustrate the history and heritage behind this great brand. The research resulted in a visually, full-impact double page which opens and ends the brochure. The overall graphic is modern and subtle. The use of uncoated paper worked well to enhance the sense of rustic leaving an elegant yet looked after style. The use of graphics elements and typography were key to unveil the sense of this new brand: refined stitching, superb fibers and distinguished fabrics.
We also worked on a special hard-cover version with an authentic leather badge glued on the front cover. Simply lovely.
The work was then applied to the production of different communication materials such as folders, invitations, Ipad & online versions.
